Battle of the Piney Woods!!!

Jason Barfield, Media Services Coordinator from Sam Houston State comes in studio to discuss the BIG NEWS of the Battle of the Piney Woods travelling south starting next season to play at Reliant Stadium. A four-year contract with Lone Star Sports and Entertainment between SFA and SHSU has brought the second-longest FCS rivalry in the state to Houston starting in 2010.

The Sports Fix is HOT!!!!!

During our show on October 14th, the fire alarm goes off in the building home to our studio forcing us out of the building and the station to go back to automation. Here are a few clips from that day.

Here is how it sounded as the alarm went off at 4:19pm CST that day as we were on the air. People walking by our studio looked displeased. (Can you hear it? Listen at the 3:22 mark.)
