Sports Fix WILL RETURN!
**UPDATED**
The Sports Fix will be back on your radio dial LIVE from the Dan Rather Building on the campus of Sam Houston State on Wednesday, September 2. There will NOT be a show on August 26th.
We look forward to having you join us for our first show. Andrew and Boggan will be back from 3-6pm covering all the sports news from around the Huntsville area from the Bearkats to the Hornets and all news from the Houston area.
Of course we'll also hit on the big news of the week and we'll hope to throw in a few interviews with some players/coaches.
The show is back for its third year on the radio. We hope to be better than ever. Started by Kevin and Charlie in Fall 2007, we look to go all out for our third year on the radio.
So tune in Wednesday, August 26 at 3:00 on 90.5 KSHU for the Sports Fix with Andrew and Boggan.
About our hosts:
Andrew
A senior at SHSU and a member of the KSHU-FM radio station since 2006, Andrew quickly made his way into a prominent role with the station. Starting as a producer with the play-by-play staff, he worked up to an on-air role as a color analyst for baseball in Spring 2007. In Spring 2008, Andrew offered to be the producer for the show, allowing him to get on the air occasionally. He provided Kevin and Charlie with information for the show and began doing Sports Fix updates in the Fall of 2008. He also has begun recording the show and hopes to podcast the show one day.
In Fall 2008, Andrew became the Sports Director for KSHU and when Kevin and Charlie could no longer be apart of the station due to obligations to internships, he took over the show as the host. Andrew also puts together intros, beds, and the music for the show and has gotten many of the interviews.
In Summer 2009, Andrew interned at Sports Radio 610.
Fav teams: Rangers(MLB), Mavs(NBA), Rams(NFL), Stars(NHL)
Boggan
A junior at SHSU and a member of KSHU since 2008, Boggan came to the station looking to do an on-air talk show but at the time one was not available. Looking to get involved any way he could, he joined the play-by-play team. He has become a strong member of that team and when the opportunity became available to have another host on the Sports Fix in the Fall of 2008, Boggan's name was at the top of the list. He brings strong opinion and knows a broad variety of sports. He has become a great asset to KSHU.
Fav teams: Rangers(MLB), Mavs(NBA), Cowboys(NFL), Stars(NHL)
